Payday Haul!

As the title suggests this is a payday haul woop! I've no doubt got no money left now but we enjoyed it whilst it lasted. I (as usual) hit Primark first and picked up a few accessories:

Left - Internacionale - £2.99 Right - Primark - £1.50

Left - Primark - £2.00 Right - Primark - £1.00 (Sale)

Bag - £3 on sale - Primark

Ring - Primark - £2.00 My favourite purchase, I absolutely love this ring!

Yep I'm channelling Spring/Summer already! I can't wait, I am completely fed up of my winter clothes. Well the ones I reluctantly purchased. I'm much more of a pastels and florals type of girl. I have been after a denim shirt for Spring/Summer, I saw one in Sports Direct that I liked but was a bit reluctant to purchase it as the sizing was a bit off. Then I spotted this one in Primark and scooped it up straight away.

The shirt was £5, Primark on sale and I plan to wear it with lots of dresses, skirts and shorts.

A cute pale blue cardi, Primark on sale for £3 also to wear with lots of cute dresses :)

Pink denim shorts £5, Primark. The colour is much more of an orangey pink then the bright pink that's showing up on here.

I bought a loose fit crop jumper from H&M for £5 for those loungey days. I plan to wear it with skinny jeans, a bight vest underneath and a long necklace.

I picked up these 2 vests in Peacocks. I already have this in purple and I love it so when I saw these on sale for £3 each I jumped at them. I can't wait to get these out into the sun when it finally arrives.

My final purchases were necessities :)

Long Time No See

Long time no see hey? I have been super busy since Christmas and the New Year so  I‘ve pretty much had no time to blog or to read blogs L So now that I am finally back on top of my Google reader (When are we gonna be able to comment straight from that?) I thought I’d get onto my first post of 2012.

I’ve collected quite a few items since my last post, some amazing some not so amazing. One of my favourites has been the Charles Worthington Hair Healer – leave in gel conditioner. I picked this up in Boots on offer for £3.79 to try and tame my locks. I really miss the softness of my pre-dyed hair but now I don’t have too! This works so well, plus it smells delicious. It leaves my hair super soft and shiny, I was a bit worried that it may look greasy or be too unmanageable but it absolutely doesn’t. I don’t think I couldn’t live without this product now, it is my hair saviour haha. I recommend you all give it a go J

Another product I am loving is my Naked shampoo & conditioner for colour treated hair. I bought these when I first dyed my hair after reading loads of horror stories about shampoos taking all of the red out of your hair (red being the hardest colour for your hair to take in). Also with them being SLS & Paraben free they don’t aggravate my scalp, which freaks out after prolonged use with a lot of shampoos. The shampoo doesn’t leave your hair feeling great, but my scalps thanking me for it. I just apply a load of conditioner afterwards to counteract it and that sorts it out as its really smoothing and soothing. I think it’s due to the lack of SLS to give your hair a good lathering but my scalp can’t cope any more. Once my scalp is back to normal, I’ll be back on the Herbal Essences, also known as the most scalp aggravating shampoo to grace my bathroom, but I’ve got a massive bottle to finish! I really need to stop buying different formula's of it thinking they will work better.

So that’s my hair update out of the way. I think my next post will my on my new make up yay!

My New Perfume

A few weeks ago I had an appointment at the dentists, which I hate! So I always treat myself before I go. This time I bought myself a lovely new perfume, I can't resist a good bargain an this was only £11! It smells gorgeous and I think its a great Winter scent. I bought Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy:

Mine was £11 from Boots for 30ml. I have also seen it since in TK Maxx, £19.99 for 100ml.

I'm not good at describing scents but I 'd say this was a deep fruity fragrance. I have pretty much been wearing it since I bought it and my boyfriend loves it so its definitely a thumbs up!

Speaking of scents I have also recently bought this fruity hand sanitiser for 68p from Wilkinsons. I absolutely love it! It smells like fruity alcohol shots.

And I picked up two Betty Crocker scented candles from the 99p shop so now my house smells as yummy as a festive bakery!

On the left is Apple Pie (I think that's what its called) and on the right is Red Velvet Cake.

I picked up a few Vanilla diffusers too :)

Tick Tock...

Hi,

I am getting really impatient that my Xmas and New Year parties are still at least 2 weeks away! :( I cannot wait to get into my sexy santa outfit (yes I have actually agreed to do that!) and my lovely New Years frock. I just love getting myself primped and preened to wake up a big mess in the morning! So I decided to drag out some products I haven't used and some I just can't get ready to party without, ready for the big events. So here's what I came up with:

Exfoliating! Soap & Glory Flake Away and Greatest Scrub of all

Body Moisturising! Soap & Glory Glow Lotion, The Daily Smooth, Girligo & The Body Shop Satsuma Body Butter

Facial Cleansing/Moisturising! Johnson's 3 in 1 Make Up Remover, Soap & Glory Clean Mary, Clean & Clear Moisturiser

Fake Tan! St Moritz Tanning Mousse

Additional Hair Products! Schwarzkopf Got2b Powderful & Schwarzkopf Gliss Shine Tonic Glossing Spray

Make Up! I haven't used any of the make up but I'm definitely going to try and use them over the party period. They're nothing special but I'd like to get some use out of them before I condemn them back into make up storage. I see these nail varnishes coming out of storage too :)

Now there's a lot of Soap & Glory here but I just love how fresh and feminine I feel after using their products. Its mainly due to the scent but I just think they are perfect for the party season <3 I can't wait to get out they're and get some more party essentials, Scholl Party Feet are definitely on the list.

17 Nail Varnish Swatches & Clothing Haul

Hi,

As requested here are the swatched of the 17 polishes from my last post.

Top Left, Night Shade (3 coats), Top Right, Night Shade with Glitter Top Coat (1 coat)
Bottom Left, Risky Red (2 coats), Bottom Left, Risky Red with Black Glitter Top Coat

Starry Eyes Eyeliner in Stardust
I don't think I like the Glitter Crackle, I think it looks like a big mess. The polishes were all super shiny though which was great. It took 3 coats of the Nightshade to create a block colour but it dried pretty quickly. The Risky Red looked perfect after one coat, I ended up doing two just in case but it didn't really make much of a difference. I loved the Glitter Top Coat! I only did one coat to test it for a subtle look. I can't wait to completely coat my nails in it haha.
I thought I'd better post up all of the items I've bought recently before I forget, so here's what I have picked up.

Top L-R, Top,  Primark £6 - Leopard Print Tunic, Asda £12 - Sequined Hat, New Look £5.99, Scarf, Primark £3, Tights, Primark £1.90 - Heart Print Dress, Asda £12 - Bag, Primark £4
Bottom L-R, Vests,  New Look £2.49 each - Wellies, Asda £13 - Leopard Print Flats, Primark £6 - 3 Pack Belts Primark £2 -  Eye Shadow Quad & Blusher Brick Primark £1

Here's the Eyeshadows (Top) and the Blusher Brick (Bottom), They are terrible blushers and eyeshadows but great highlighters as all that shows up is a white sheen, strange but still useful. I did get a shock when I took a proper look in the mirror though! I won't be using anymore make up without testing them first again, I can tell you that hehe.

I picked up a few more bits but they are all currently in the wash so I'll post those up another time. P.S. sorry for the terrible pictures.

Boots 17 Nail Buys

Hi,

I picked up the 17 Black Glitter Crackle Top Coat today from Boots. I thought it would be a great buy for the Christmas season and I was intrigued at how it would look on. They also had an offer on for a free "Electric Disco" set when you bought 2 products. So I also bought the Starry Eyes Glitter Liner in Stardust. I can't wait to use them and see if they're any good, hopefully they are! I'm quite impressed with the free gift. There's nothing I wouldn't gets lots of use out of, so even if the crackle and eyeliner are rubbish I'll be happy with these :)

The free gift contains 3 nail polishes (L-R Risky Red, Glitter Top Coat, Nightshade) and a small nail file in a "party perfect purse" which would make a cute little make up bag. Bargain or what! :)
