Skin Care Buys

Hello!

As promised here are my recent skin care buys. I picked up the No7 Soft and Soothed Gentle Cleanser from Boots a few weeks ago. I'm trying to treat my skin with a bit more respect now since my diet has gone down hill with all this winter weather. I am spot ridden at the moment so I also got the Witch stick to see if that would help. I do plan on trying to get back to a health(ish) diet when I get paid. Especially since I've put a bit of weight on and my favourite jeans are too tight! :( Why does 11lbs feel like trying to lose 5 stone lol. I may have to go back to my lovely Weightwatcher leader so I don't undo all of my hard work.

Anyway back to the cleaners, it feels really nice on my skin and does a great job at removing my make up. My skin is left lovely and soft and refreshed. It's definitely worth the £8 I spent on it and I love how quick and easy it is. It doesn't really remove eye makeup though but I'm not too fussed about that. I just use my face wipes after I've used this and it comes off pretty easy.

With having success with this product I thought I'd try one of there toners too. So I picked up the No7 Beautifully Balanced Purifying Toner as I have oily skin and this totally works! I completely recommend this product. I will definitely be repurchasing this beauty. I love how clean my skin feels and how it keeps my skin oil fee. Its even helping my make up to stay on yay! This was also £8.

I picked up a face cloth and pad set at Poundland and I've been using the round circular pad with this cleanser as an alternative to a million cotton wool pads. It's also going to save me a tiny bit of money haha.

So that's my recent skin care buys, hope you enjoyed it :) x

Hair Buys

Hi Guys,

Thought I'd show you a few hair products I've picked up at Boots & Tesco recently. Some of the photos I've just picked up from Google and some I had already taken pics of previously.

Since I've started dying my hair I've noticed a big difference in its condition. It needs a lot more looking after and conditioning. I'm not used to it as I could never condition my hair before as it just made it greasy. So I picked up the much praised Aussie 3 Minute Miracle but the Lusciously Light version for £3 from Tesco. I decided to go for the light version as I don't want my hair being too heavy. I've only just trained it so I don't have to wash it everyday, which I did have to do when it wasn't dyed yay!

Its such a good conditioner and I'm so so glad I bought it. I really notice a big difference to my hair when I do use it. I would recommend it to everyone! My hair is really thanking me for this purchase.

I also picked up this Wella Lifetex conditioner for red hair a few weeks ago from Home Bargains for £1.99. Its supposed to be an illuminating mask to bring out/prolong your colour. I bought this for the same reason as the Aussie but I wouldn't really rate it. I've only used it twice and won't be repurchasing.

Also in Tesco I bought the Guardian Angel heat protection spray. I only bought it today as my current spray is running out, so I can't really give my opinion on this yet. Most of the products in this range are currently half price so I picked this up for only £2!

I already have the Got 2b 2Sexy hairspray which I love! I was going to repurchase it from Tesco but I'm sure I got a much larger can from Wilkinsons which was also half price, so I'm going to check there first. The hairspray smells delicious and has a great hold, I am sooo in love! Plus check out this gorgeous bottle.

I bought a pack of Babyliss hairbands from Boots too which I have been wearing a lot recently. Also a 100 pack of bobby pins at only £1.69 bargain!
Anyway I will be doing a post on my latest skin care products tomorrow, hopefully. I'm just going to relax wait for my boyfriend to make fajitas and settle down to the X Factor! x

OOTD

Just a quick OOTD post today since I'm always posting about bargains recently. Don't worry you won't have to put up with that for much longer as I get paid soon and I'm off to Manchester to splurge yay!!! I've been really busy lately hence the lack of posting but I have loads of items to blog about so I'm going to try and get through those in the coming week.

I must apologise in advance for the hair as I was only nipping out to town for my appointment at the hairdressers, which was desperately needed. It was a treat from my lovely fiance who also treated us to a meal and a few drinks out last night with our friends. We all had an absolutely amazing time. It also turns out that me and my friend are being treated by the boys next week, so we can't wait to find out what that is! I should be able to blog about that on Friday all being well as I have a dentists appointment Friday afternoon and as usual I will be terrified! Anyway I'm going to try and forget about that again and onto the OOTD!

I bought the top/jumper combo in the Matalan summer sale for an amazing £3 I think could have been £5 though. The jeans were £16 from Peacocks they are the Authentic range. The boots are from New Look £24.99. I have wore the necklace before in another OOTD. This was also from a Matalan sale.

I bought this ring in the Matalan sale on Friday. They had so much jewellery for £1 I couldn't resist oops. So yep this was £1 haha.

I picked up these in the Matalan sale too, I think these came in at £2.50 but then they had a 3 for 2 offer so that took my total back down to less then I expected. I was left completely confused lol.

I would usually wear earrings as I feel naked without them but I once thought I had lost an earring on the way to the hairdressers, turns out it was in my hair as she later discovered. I didn't feel stupid at all :/ obviously haha. Hope you are all enjoying your weekends I know I am :) xx

My hearts a stereo it beats for you so listen close, hear my thoughts in every note

Hello!

How was everyones bonfire night? I went to our local park with my partner and a few friends. It was absolutely packed it took us ages to make our way through the crowds and up to the funfair where my friends were. We enjoyed the fireworks and a lot of music (got my groove on to The Little Mermaids Under the Sea ha!) but not the struggling through the crowds! After that we decided to venture up to the new Tesco Extra that has recently opened up on our link way. It seemed like a good idea at the time but it was freezing and slightly risky seeing as the paths were a bit hit and miss. I had to check it out though, especially since they closed down our main Tesco to open it and I haven't been able to get my fix. I usually have a nosey around after work which I haven't been able to do. I had a look a Vevo range whislt I was ther but I didn't really see anything worth trying.

After all that we finally got home and got out all the junk food to compensate and watched a film called Priest, I don't know if anyones seen it, we thought it was a bit of a let down.

We also had my bestie over Friday night for some junk food and made her watch Insidious which we LOVE but she didn't like haha.

We had a good shop Saturday morning though, picking up a few essentials and a few un-essentials (I can't help myself!). Anyway here's what I picked up.

Firstly I dragged everyone to Superdrug and picked up our first essential toilet roll. 12 rolls of Cushelle for under £4 how could you pass that up haha!

Some of my more (loosely) interesting items are 2 MUA Blushers and 1 lip gloss. I didn't know there was a 3 for 2 offer on so the nice man at the till just scanned another blusher for me (which is why I have 2) so I could go and pick up another before I left. I do need a nice new blusher and I have loads of lip glosses so it was an easy decision. I think I prefer the blusher I just grabbed though which is the one underneath. I really think this colour will suit me better but we shall see. The lip gloss comes out quite clear which I wasn't expecting but I'm not going to complain. The blushers are, Top: Shade 2 Bottom: Shade 5 and the lip gloss: Shade 5. I couldn't get the lip gloss to show up at all in a picture though. All £1 each.

I also picked up as massive tin of Batiste Dry Shampoo which was half price at £2.45! I wouldn't usually use this Blush type but it was the only kind left.

We then went to Boots where I picked up a few bargains on sale:

Prestige baked mineral blush in natural £2.12 (random pricing?). They have made room for the new Soap & Glory cosmetics (yay!) in my local Boots by getting rid of the Prestige range so all of the items have been on clearance. I've been after a baked blusher so I snatched this up. Here's a swatch:

It's a really lovely colour and the texture is really nice so I'm more then happy with it, plus I don't have any blushers in this shade.

I picked up a 17 Shine On lipstick in Flirty for £1.50 Which is a lovely creamy lipstick in a gorgeous dark nude colour. I can see myself getting a lot of use out of this.

I've been wearing the Barry M green to pink/red lipstick recently but it really stains my lips. It always looks like I'm still wearing it the next day and kinda makes me look like I've got a cold. I love the colour though as it really suits me so I was looking for a colour to replace that and I think I have found it in this!

I picked up a few more thing but this is getting to be quite a long post, so I think I might leave it here and have a test of my other item first. Hope you all have a nice end to the weekend! I think I'm going to spend mine watching some Vampire Diaries on the Internet :) x

Poundland Bargains

I was having a nose around in town whilst waiting for my friend for what turned out to be a great night at her flat. I ended up extremely drunk and left her flat a bit worse for wear after smashing glasses and somehow even managing to break her toilet, its not how it sounds I promise! Being my best friend she even gave up her bed for me aww!

Anyway we had an absolutely amazing night but a terrible takeaway haha. I am still aching from all the dancing and my throat has still not recovered from all the singing!

Right back to the bargains, so I was moseying around poundland and found these 3 Rimmel nail polishes. Ive never seen these square bottles before so they grabbed my attention. The colours come out really well and they seem like they'll have good staying power too. Here's how they came out.

Thought I'd find the best way to show the two tone effect. The blue is quite a lot darker on though.

I love all of these colours really glad I bought them, they are definitely going to be well used. Think I'm going to wear the blue tomorrow with my outfit for works Fright Night. I work it every year on the ticket stand. Its a guided walk around a local parks walled gardens with various scenes and scary nonsense. It also means I get to go on the last walk of the night and feast upon hotpot before I freeze my butt off sorting the tickets and some extra cash in my bank for Christmas presents which always helps!

I also picked up a small set of 2 drawers to store my eye palettes in since I keep throwing them all over the floor. Luckily for me they haven't smashed :) Anyway I'm going off to finish watching Made in Chelsea and having a cuddle with my fiance and cat xxx

A few goodies

Thought I would show you a few things I picked up in New Look, even though I should not be spending oops! I didn't stop there but that's for another post :)

I have already worn this necklace with a plain vest and jeans and I really liked it - £5.00

I also picked up another necklace (as if I don't have enough already!) - £5.00

Finally I bought a 2 pack of belts, which I think are really cute! - £5.00

They're both patent even though the tan/peachy one doesn't look it here. I bought these to go with all my plain winter clothes I plan on wearing. So hopefully I'll get plenty of use out of all of these so I don't feel guilty for spending more haha. Although I am dying to go and see Paranormal Activity 3 and no doubt I will :) x

Winter Coat!!!

As the title suggests I have finally found my winter coat yay! Today I went to Liverpool to do some Christmas shopping and get a few bits and bobs. Spent most of my money as usual, if only I still lived at home! I do love having my own house though so I suppose It's worth it :) Very busy out today Christmas is definitely coming, the crowds of shoppers are stressing me out already It's so cold too but at least it was sunny today. Warmed myself up with a gorgeous pizza after venturing to Asda for my food shop, so much for the diet haha. Anyway I'll get on with todays purchases.

Here's the coat in question. Unfortunately I don't take a good picture :/ Think I'll be taking the belt off it as it seems a bit to fussy. The fur collar is also detachable but it makes the coat so warm, no scarf needed I think. I love love love this coat and it was only £35 I think it looks a  lot more expensive and don't think the photo does it justice.

I picked up in Boots a Soap & Glory You Cube, FCUK set and  a Ted Baker set. All in the 3 for 2 so that's the main presents for my friends sorted.

All from Primark - 2 jewellery organisers that I saw on Elissa's Blog except I bought it in pink. One for me and one to go with one of my friends presents, she's also got a Pixi palette in Miracle that completes her presents. Some underwear essentials £2.50 - Primark, have to wear black underwear with leggings. A small purse as I mainly have large ones, although I did buy a floral coin purse from Tesco to go in my small bags that don't have inside pockets. Thought I would try these face wipes as I'm still in search of some that don't upset my skin. Unfortunately these are crap haha but what did I expect for a £1!

A jumper for work as my office is always freezing £5 - Primark

Black heart & cross earrings £1.50 - Primark

Stag earrings £1 - Primark

17 Photo Flawless Skin Primer £4.99 - Boots - Hoping this will help my make-up stay on as it has good reviews.

Had a very tiring day today so I'm off the watch the rest of the X Factor and get on the snacks hehe.
